CHICKEN NUGGETS

 




Ingredients:

  • 500g boneless chicken breast or thigh, cut into bite-sized pieces

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika or chili powder

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)

  • Oil for frying


Instructions:

  1. Prepare the chicken:

  • Pat the chicken pieces dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

  1. Set up the coating stations:

  • In one bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  • In another bowl, beat the eggs.

  • In a third bowl, keep the breadcrumbs.

  1. Coat the chicken:

  • Dip each chicken piece first in the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat well with breadcrumbs.

  1. Fry the nuggets:

  • Heat oil in a deep pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and cooked through (about 4-5 minutes per batch).

  • Drain on paper towels.

  1. Serve:

  • Serve hot with ketchup, mayo, or your favorite dipping sauce!


Optional:

  • Bake instead of fry — place coated nuggets on a baking tray and bake at 200°C (400°F) for 15-20 mins, flipping halfway.

  • Add grated cheese inside nuggets for a cheesy surprise!
