✅ Ingredients:

500g chicken (bone-in or boneless, cut into pieces)

2 tbsp oil or ghee

1 large onion (finely chopped)

2 tomatoes (pureed or finely chopped)

1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

2 green chilies (slit, optional)

1 tsp cumin seeds
-
1 tsp turmeric powder
-
1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp coriander powder
-
1 tsp garam masala
-
Salt to taste

Fresh coriander leaves (chopped, for garnish)

1 cup water (adjust as needed)
👨🍳 Instructions:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates from the masala (about 5-7 minutes).

Add turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add chicken pieces and stir to coat them with the masala. Cook for 5-7 minutes until chicken starts to brown.

Pour in water, cover, and simmer on low heat for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked and tender.

Stir in garam masala and cook for another 2 minutes.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
